One Injured in a Two-Vehicle Collision on US 431

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Melissa Jones was operating a 2006 Toyota Corolla northbound on US 431. Ms. Jones had stopped in traffic and was waiting to make a right turn. Shane Lee was operating a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer northbound on US 431 traveling behind Ms. Jones. Mr. Lee was unable to stop in time and rear-ended Ms. Jones. Ms. Jones was transported to Owensboro Medical Health Systems for treatment. Mr. Lee was not injured. Both subjects were wearing seat belts.
