One Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision on US62

(Madisonville, KY) -- Ms. Ariel Sauer was traveling eastbound on US62, approximately 2.5 miles east of Dawson Springs. As Ms. Sauer was exiting a curve, her vehicle became sideways, crossing the westbound lane of travel. Ms. Sauer's vehicle then exited the westbound shoulder of the roadway, causing the front bumper of her vehicle to make contact with an earth embankment. Ms. Sauer's vehicle then came to rest in a ditch off the westbound shoulder of the roadway, facing east. Ms. Sauer was transported by ambulance to Regional Medical Center for injuries sustained as a result of the collision.
