Drug Arrest in Muhlenberg County

(Madisonville, KY) - Troopers from Post 2 Madisonville received a complaint of possible drug activity at a residence on State Route 604 just outside of Central City from an anonymous caller. When Troopers arrived at the residence, they came in contact with Mr. James T. Jones. A search of the residence revealed that Mr. Jones was in possession of several marijuana plants, processed marijuana, several items of drug paraphernalia, and numerous firearms. Mr. Jones was charged with Trafficking in Marijuana (less than 8 ounces) 1st Offense, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st offense and lodged in the Muhlenberg County Jail.
