One Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision on Weldon Road

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Jacob Johnson was operating a 2007 Volkswagen Jetta northbound on Weldon Road approaching a stop sign at the intersection of KY 370. Due to a dense fog, Mr. Johnson was unable to see the stop sign. His vehicle traveled through the intersection and exited the roadway into a field. Mr. Johnson was transported by a private vehicle to the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville for treatment of minor injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt.
