Hopkins County Cultivating Marijuana Arrest

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- On August 19, 2009 a Post 2 Marijuana Eradication team located approximately 131 marijuana plants, by aerial observation. The plants were located on Stones Chapel Road behind a residence. Trooper McWhorter arrested Paul Fowler of Morgantown, Indiana and charged him with Cultivating Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. All charges are firearm enhanced due to a loaded firearm being located at the scene. Paul Fowler was lodged in the Hopkins Detention Center.
