Motorcycle Collision on KY630 in Hopkins County

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Mr. Casey D. Kirkwood was traveling westbound on KY630, when he ran off the roadway while entering a curve. Mr. Kirkwood's motorcycle continued off the roadway where he struck a culvert. Mr. Kirkwood was thrown from his motorcycle at this point. The motorcycle entered the eastbound lane where it struck the Martin J. Wurth's vehicle, which was traveling eastbound on KY630. Mr. Kirkwood was flown to St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. Neither occupant in Mr. Wurth's vehicle was injured.
