DUI Injury Collision on Cadiz Road in Christian County

Date of News Release: 07/18/2009

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Mrs. Heather Robinson was traveling east on Cadiz Road (U.S 68) when she made a left turn onto Everetts Lane. Mrs. Robinson turned too wide and traveled off of the left shoulder of Everetts Lane and went in a ditch. Mrs. Robinson refused to be treated by Christian County E.M.S so she was not transported by them to the hospital. While Trooper Palmer was at the scene, he determined that Mrs. Robinson was under the influence of alcohol and placed her under arrest for Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol 2nd Offense and Failure to Maintain Required Insurance. Trooper Palmer then transported Mrs. Robinson to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment. Due to her injuries, Mrs. Robinson was cited to court for her charges instead of being lodged in jail.
