Injury Collision on Edward T. Breathitt (Pennyrile Parkway)

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Cynthia Anderson was operating a 1996 Chevrolet Suburban southbound on the Edward T. Breathitt (Pennyrile Parkway) at approximately the 12 mile-marker when three deer entered the roadway. The front of the vehicle struck one deer. Another deer struck the side of the vehicle. The third deer struck the back, left window and entered the vehicle shattering several windows. Elizabeth Anderson was transported by ambulance to the Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment. It appears she was injured by the shattered glass. No other injuries were reported. All subjects were wearing seat belts.
