Injury Collision on KY 109 in Hopkins County

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Annie Moore was operating a 2005 Chevrolet Classic southbound on KY 109 when it appears that she fell asleep. The vehicle crossed the northbound lane and traveled onto the left shoulder of the roadway. It continued for approximately 170 feet before striking a tree in front of a residence. Ms. Moore was extricated from the vehicle and flown by PHI Air Medical to the Vanderbilt Medical Center for treatment. Ms. Hilary Morgan was transported by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment. Both subjects were wearing seat belts.
