Injury Collision on KY 260 in Hopkins County

(Madisonville, KY) -- Mr. Chester Joseph Jr., was operating a 2001 Dodge Caravan Westbound on KY 260. Mr. Roy Stills was operating a 2000 Honda Motorcycle eastbound on KY 260. Mr. Joseph attempted to turn left into the Hanson Elementary parking lot turning into the path of Mr. Stills. Mr. Stills attempted to swerve to avoid a collision but was unable to do so. Mr. Stills then struck the rear passenger side corner of the van with the front of the motorcycle. After the collision the motorcycle landed on its right side and slid into the westbound lane. Mr. Stills was transported to Regional Medical Center via Med Center Ambulance for treatment to his injuries.
