Felony Arrest in Crittenden County

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Trooper Matthew Foster, Trooper Darron Holliman & the Crittenden County Sheriff's Office responded to a complaint of a subject that was intoxicated and armed with a handgun. When officers arrived Sulpher Springs Cemetery Road, they observed Mr. Charles N. Winters operating an A.T.V. When officers attempted to confront Mr. Winters, he fled into a field. Mr. Winters was apprehended a short time later, without incident. Mr. Winters was charged with Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree & Operating Motor Vehicle U/influence of Alcohol 1st Offense. Mr. Winters was lodged into the Crittenden County Jail.
