Injury Collision on Edward T. Breathitt Pennyrile Parkway

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Lauren Scott was operating a 2005 Nissan Murano northbound on the Edward T. Breathitt Pennyrile Parkway at approximately the 39 mile-marker when her vehicle hydroplaned. The vehicle exited the travel portion of the roadway and traveled into the median where it a struck a culvert. The vehicle overturned and came to rest upright in the southbound lanes facing west. Lauren Scott and her two passengers, Jade Hinton and Emily Scott, were transported to the Regional Medical Center by ambulance for treatment. All three ladies were wearing seat belts.
