Injury Collision on I-24 in Christian County

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Both Melanie Chapman and Nikonia Ware were traveling west on I-24. Miss Ware began to have vehicle problems and activated her emergency flashers as she began to slow down and travel in the slow lane. Mrs. Chapman, who was also traveling in the slow lane, struck Miss Ware from behind. Ms. Ware and her passenger, Stacy Durham, were transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by Christian County EMS for treatment. Mrs. Chapman was not injured in the accident.
