Injury Collision on Pennyrile Parkway

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Ms. Kauser Ras was traveling southbound on the Pennyrile Parkway. While attempting to pass another vehicle, Ms. Ras lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle then exited the roadway, striking an earth embankment causing the vehicle to overturn. The vehicle came to final rest upright in a ditch off the right shoulder of the roadway. Two of the four occupants were transported by life flight helicopter to St Mary's Hospital.
