Fatal Collision on Sunset Road in Hopkins County

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Mr. James W. Brinkley was traveling westbound on Sunset Road when he entered a curve at a high rate of speed. Mr. Brinkley's vehicle traveled off of the right shoulder of the roadway and struck an earth embankment causing his vehicle to overturn. Mr. Brinkley was pronounced dead at the scene by Hopkins County Coroner, Dennis Mayfield.
