Injury Crash Involving DUI

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Ronnie Jones Jr. was operating a motor scooter westbound on Stringtown Road when he failed to negotiate a curve. The motor scooter exited the right shoulder of the roadway. It struck a ditch causing Mr. Jones to fall from the scooter. Mr. Jones was transported to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital by ambulance. He was treated and released. He was then transported to the Muhlenberg County Detention Center where he was lodged and charged with DUI 3rd Offense, Driving on DUI Suspended License 2nd Offense & No Operator/Moped License. He was not wearing a helmet.
