Hopkins County Drug Arrest

(Madisonville, Ky.) - Trooper Brandon McPherson was on patrol when he observed a suspicious vehicle parked on an old, closed, mine road approximately 2 miles west of St. Charles. There was one occupant inside the vehicle. As Trooper McPherson was questioning the occupant, David L. Bean, he observed a plastic bag of suspected methamphetamine on the driver's side floorboard. Upon searching the vehicle, Trooper McPherson located additional methamphetamine and items of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Bean was arrested without incident and charged with Possession Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd or > Offense (Meth) & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd or > Offense. He was lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
