Injury Collision on KY 171 in Muhlenberg County

(Madisonville, Ky.) - Blake Bratcher was operating a 1995 Mitsubishi southbound on KY 171. Mr. Bratcher failed to negotiate a curve and his vehicle exited the right shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle struck an earth embankment and became airborne. It came to rest on its top. Mr. Bratcher and his passenger, Brandon Oakley, were transported to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital in a personal vehicle. Both were treated and released. Neither subject was wearing a seat belt.
