Injury Collision on US 431 in Muhlenberg County

(Madisonville, Ky.) -- Nora Vance was operating a 1994 Honda Civic southbound on US 431. Ronald Dillard was operating a 1993 Chevrolet pickup truck southbound on US 431 traveling behind Ms. Vance. Ms. Vance was attempting to make a right turn into the Beechmont IGA parking lot. Mr. Dillard was unable to stop in time and his vehicle rear-ended Ms. Vance's vehicle. Ms. Vance was transported by ambulance to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported at the scene. All occupants were wearing seat belts.
