Injury Collision on Western Kentucky Pkwy in Hopkins County

(Madisonville, Ky.) - Mr. David Cansler was traveling eastbound on the Western Kentucky Pkwy operating a 1994 Chevrolet Tracker. Mr. Thomas Hopper Sr., was also eastbound on the Western Kentucky Pkwy operating a 2005 Ford F-150. As Mr. Hopper approached Mr. Cansler he struck the rear of Mr. Cansler's vehicle with the front of his vehicle causing Mr. Cansler to rotate clockwise and exit the eastbound shoulder of the roadway. Mr. Cansler's vehicle then struck an earth embankment coming to final rest in a ditch on the shoulder of the roadway. Mr. Hopper continued eastbound pulling to the shoulder of the roadway. Mr. Cansler was transported to Regional Medical Center via Med Center Ambulance for treatment to his injuries.
