Injury Collision on US 62 in Hopkins County

(Madisonville, Ky.) - Elmer Renfro was operating a 1996 Buick Regal eastbound on US 62 just outside of St. Charles. Mr. Renfro lost control of his vehicle when he swerved to avoid a horse that had entered the roadway. The vehicle exited off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch/embankment. Mr. Renfro was transported by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment. He was wearing a seat belt.
