Injury Collision on KY 70 in Hopkins County

(Madisonville, Ky.) - Ms. Erica B. Dame was traveling westbound on KY 70. Mr. Timothy L. Dorris was traveling eastbound on KY 70. For unknown reasons Ms. Dame entered the eastbound lane and struck Mr. Dorris head on. Ms. Dame's vehicle exited the westbound shoulder of the roadway, coming to final rest upright facing east on the shoulder of the roadway. Mr. Dorris' vehicle continued eastbound and exited the eastbound shoulder of the roadway striking an earth embankment. Mr. Dorris' vehicle came to final rest upright on the shoulder of the roadway. Ms. Dame and Mr. Dorris were transported to Regional Medical Center for treatment.
