Drug Investigation & Arrest in Christian County

(Madisonville, KY) - Mr. James Blane was operating a 1992 Buick, when he pulled up to a Safety Checkpoint. After speaking with Mr. Blane, Trooper Manzanares determined that Mr. Blane was operating his vehicle under the influence of drugs and placed him under arrest. While searching the vehicle, Trooper Manzanares located marijuana, crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Blane was lodged in the Christian County Jail. Mr. Blane was charged with Failure to Wear Seat Belt, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Cocaine), Failure of Owner to Maintain Required Insurance 1st Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Offense, Possession of Marijuana & Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Drugs.
