Injury Collision on US 431 in Muhlenberg County

(Madisonville, KY) - Lamonte Kropf was operating a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero northbound on US 431 when it appears that he fell asleep. The vehicle exited off the left shoulder of the roadway and struck a tree. Mr. Kropf was not injured. His passenger, Jose Calderon, was transported by ambulance to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Both subjects were wearing seat belts.
