Injury Collision on Old Railroad Lane in Todd County

(Madisonville, KY) - Michael Hein was operating a 2007 Pontiac Torrent northbound on Old Railroad Lane when he slowed to allow deer to cross the roadway. As he was accelerating, another deer entered his path of travel. Mr. Hein swerved to avoid the deer and his vehicle exited the roadway. It struck a ditch and became airborne. The vehicle came to rest on its passenger side in a field. Mr. Hein was transported by ambulance to Logan Memorial Hospital for treatment. He was wearing a seat belt.
