One Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision on KY 58

(Mayfield, Ky.)-- Melody Arnold was eastbound on KY 58 when a deer crossed into her path. Ms. Arnold applied the brakes and swerved to the right in an attempt to miss the deer. As a result of these actions, Ms. Arnold traveled off the south side of KY 58. Ms. Arnold traveled up an earth embankment causing her vehicle to overturn. Ms. Arnold was transported by Hickman County Ambulance Service to Jackson Purchase Hospital where she was treated and released for her minor injuries. Trooper Nall was assisted on scene by Trooper Eric Fields, the Hickman County Sheriff's Office, Clinton Police, Hickman County Fire and Rescue and Hickman County Ambulance Service.
