One Killed and Three Injured in a Single Vehicle Collision

(Mayfield, Ky.) -- Wyatt L. Gillum was traveling westbound on KY 2422 when for an unknown reason he lost control of the vehicle. Mr. Gillum overcorrected his vehicle and ran off the right side of the road striking a tree on the driver's side where it came to final rest. Mr. Gillum was pronounced dead at the scene by the Graves County Coroner. Three passengers were injured in the collision (Jeremy Meadows, Gregory Caylor Jr. & Alexis Smallwood). KSP was assisted by Graves County Rescue Squad, Wingo Fire Department and the Mayfield Graves County EMS. Investigation is continuing by Trooper Alison Wommer.
