Suspect Wanted for Murder Arrested in Graves County

(Boaz, Ky.) -- On Friday, November 20, Kentucky State Police, received information regarding the location of a Paducah man who was wanted by the Hopkins County Sheriff's Office for a murder and robbery which occurred in October near Madisonville. Just after midnight, Friday morning, Troopers, Deputies with the Graves and McCracken County Sheriff's Office, and Detectives with the Paducah Police Department, began gathering intelligence on a residence in north Graves County. Information had been received that 23-year-old Dustin McKinney, of Paducah, was staying in a trailer on KY 994. Officers conducted surveillance on the trailer until approximately 8:00 AM at which time the suspect was located and taken into custody without incident. Mr. McKinney was charged with Capital Murder (2 counts), and Robbery 1st Degree (1 count). He was lodged in the Graves County Detention Center. The investigation is continuing by the Hopkins County Sheriff's Office.
