Fatal Structure Fire in the Melber Community

(Melber, Ky) -- The Kentucky State Police received a complaint of a structure fire in the Melber Community in Graves County. Upon arrival, a house trailer was located fully engulfed. Once the fire was extinguished, it was determined there was one fatality inside the residence. Identification of the victim is pending autopsy. The Kentucky State Police was assisted at the scene by the Graves County Sheriff's Department, Graves County Coroner's Office, State Fire Marshall's Office, Lowe's Fire Department, Melber Fire Department, West Viola Fire Department, and Cunningham Fire Department. The investigation continues by Detective Jerry Jones and Arson Investigator Frank Gresham.
