One Injured in a Two Car Collision In Lyon County

(Mayfield, Ky.) -- Mrs. Yolanda Hardesty was stopped in the southbound lane of KY 293 at the intersection of KY 93. Mrs. Hardesty then pulled in front of Mrs. Belinda Whisman's vehicle who was traveling south on KY 93. Mrs. Whisman took evasive action to try to avoid the collision but was unable to avoid striking Mrs. Hardesty's vehicle. Mrs. Whisman suffered minor injuries and was transported by the Lyon County EMS to Western Baptist Hospital. Trooper Wright was assisted at the scene by the Lyon County Rescue Squad and Lyon County EMS. The investigation continues by Trooper Wright.
