Three Injured in a Single Car Collision

(Mayfield, Ky.) -- Mr. Stan Paul J. Burkeen age 17 was traveling west on Roosevelt Road (Ky 1346). As he crossed a set of railroad tracks, Mr. Burkeen lost control of the vehicle, which overturned several times and struck a utility pole before coming to final rest. Mr. Burkeen was uninjured; however three passengers (Ashley N Darnell age 18, Hayden E Dunigan age 16 & Michael A Dominey age 23) in Mr. Burkeen's vehicle were transported to Murray Calloway County Hospital for injuries sustained. The investigation continues by Trooper Trey Green, who was assisted on scene by Calloway County Fire/Rescue, Murray Fire Department, Murray Calloway County EMS, and Marshall County EMS.
