Injury Collision on US 45 in Graves County

(Hickory, Ky.) -- Ms. Jennifer Trent was traveling south on US 45 in the left lane and was attempting a left turn onto Fowler Road. Mr. Jerry Harlan was traveling behind Ms. Trent and failed to see her vehicle slowing for the turn and struck her from behind. Ms. Trent was transported to Lourdes Hospital by Mayfield-Graves County EMS. After investigation, Mr. Harlan was charged with Driving on DUI Suspended License and Possession of Open Alcoholic Container and lodged in the Graves County Jail. Trooper Thomas was assisted at the scene by Trooper Joe Gregory, Trooper Michael Cook, and Mayfield-Graves County EMS.
