Motorcycle Collision on KY 164 in Trigg County

(Hickory, Ky.) -- Mr. Daniel K. Crossland was traveling Westbound on KY 164 (Roaring Spring Road), at a high rate of speed when he failed to negotiate a curve. Mr. Crossland's motorcycle traveled off the left portion of the roadway, where he then struck an embankment and came to final rest in a corn field. Mr. Crossland was airlifted by Air Evac for injuries sustained and transported to the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Trooper Richard Wright was assisted on scene by the Trigg County Sheriffs Department, Trigg County Ambulance Service, Trigg County Rescue, Roaring Spring Fire Department, and Air Evac. Investigation continues by Trooper Richard Wright.
