Criminal Arrest in Calloway County

(Hickory, Ky.) -- While on patrol for Blue Lights Across the Bluegrass, Trooper Tim Sales observed Kenton Doran not wearing his seatbelt. During the traffic stop it was discovered that Mr. Doran was also wanted on two oustanding warrants from the Graves County Sheriff's Department and the Kentucky Department of Probation and Parole. Trooper Sales charged Mr. Doran with Failure to Wear Seatbelt, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Offense, Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree 1st Offense, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Promoting Contraband. Mr. Doran was also served two outstanding warrants; One from Graves County Sheriff's Department on charges of Tampering with Anhydrous Amonia Equipment with the Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine and a warrant from Kentucky Probation and Parole for Absconding Parole Supervision, Failure to Report to a Parole Officer, and three counts of Use of a Controlled Substances. Mr. Doran was lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center. Trooper Trey Green and officers from the Murray City Police Department assisted Trooper Sales on the scene.
