Kuttawa Burglaries Investigation and Arrest

(Kuttawa, Ky.) -- Three area subjects have been arrested in connection with burglaries that occurred over a four month period at McConnell's Pharmacy in Kuttawa. Two of the three burglaries were under investigation by the Lyon County Sheriff's Department who contacted KSP Detective Brett Miller with information they had obtained through their investigation. Detective Miller followed up with the provided information which led him to new evidence. With this new evidence and after speaking with Deputy Robert Harris, and Sheriff Kent Murphy of the Lyon County Sheriff's Department, Detective Miller was able to obtain arrest warrants for, William Jackson, 26, of Mayfield, Christopher Roper, 22, of Paducah, and Brittany Emery, 19, also of Paducah. Det. Miller charged all three individuals with one count each of Burglary 3rd, and one count of Theft of a Controlled Substance Over $300, both felonies. The three will likely face additional charges from the Lyon County Sheriff's Department. The investigation is continuing by the Lyon County Sheriff's Department and Det. Brett Miller of the Kentucky State Police.
