Fatal Collision on Carrsville Road in Livingston County

(Mayfield, Ky.) -- Mr. Louis Chittenden was northbound on Carrsville Road when the passenger side tires dropped off the right hand shoulder of the roadway. Mr. Chittenden overcorrected and crossed both lanes of travel before striking an embankment and overturned on the southbound side of the roadway. Livingston County Sheriffs Department, Livingston EMS, Smithland and Burna Fire Departments assisted Kentucky State Police on the scene. The investigation is continuing with Trooper Daniel Jones.
