Injury Collision on East Ross School in Trigg County

(Mayfield, Ky.) -- Mr. Joseph C. McCoy was traveling east on East Ross School road when a deer jumped into his pathway of travel. Mr. McCoy lost control of the vehicle after trying to avoid the deer and exited the right side of the roadway. The vehicle traveled down a steep emabankment and struck a tree. Donald W. Box was transported to Vanderbilt by PHI air medical for treatment. Joseph C. McCoy and Kenneth McCoy were both transported by Trigg County Ambulance Service to Trigg County Hospital for treetment. Kentucky State Police was assisted at the scene by the Trigg County Sheriff's Department, Trigg County Fire and Rescue, and Trigg County Ambulance Service.
