Injury Collision on Purchase Parkway in Graves County

(Hickory, Ky.) -- Mr. William Houston was merging onto the Purchase Parkway from KY 339 at Exit 14. Mr. Andrew Cox was traveling south on the Purchase Parkway. As Mr. Houston was merging, he failed to yield the right of way and was struck by Mr. Cox's vehicle. Mr. Houston was transported to Jackson Purchase Medical Center by Mayfield-Graves County EMS with minor injuries. Mr. Cox was not injured in the collision. Trooper Fields was assisted at the scene by Mayfield-Graves County EMS and Trooper Kyle Nall. The investigation continues by Trooper Fields.
