KSP Investigating Stolen Equipment in Lyon County

(Kuttawa, Ky) -- Kentucky State Police are currently investigating the theft of debris removal equipment from a truck stop in Lyon County. On April 14th, Townsend Tree Service reported that approximately $6400.00 worth of chain saws and other tree trimming equipment was stolen from four different company trucks in the parking lot of Huck's Travel Center in Kuttawa. Stolen items include chain saws, pole saws, and other items that would be used in the tree cutting/trimming trade. It is believed the items were stolen during the early morning hours of April 14th. The investigation is ongoing by Trooper First Class Christopher Anderson with the Kentucky State Police.
