Fatal Motorcycle Collision in Calloway County

(Mayfield, Ky.) - Mr. Michael G. Farley was southbound on Ky 121 behind Mrs. Frances Barclay and another uninvolved vehicle. Mrs. Barclay slowed to turn and Mr. Farley attempted to pass Mrs. Barclay and the other vehicle. As he was attempting to pass the two vehicles, Mrs. Barclay completed her left hand turn into a driveway. Mr. Farley laid the bike down and slid into the drivers' side door of Mrs. Barclay's van. Mr. Farley came to final rest in the driveway of 3654 State Route 121. Mr. Farley was transported to Murray Calloway County ER, where he was later pronounced deceased. Neither Mrs. Barclay nor her passenger reported any injuries. Trooper Duvall was assisted on scene by Murray Calloway County EMS, Murray Fire and Rescue, Sgt. Mike Williams and Trooper Tim Sales.
