KSP Charges Earl Wadlington with Additional Charge

(Cadiz, Ky) -- Earl Wadlington faces an additional charge stemming from a search warrant that was served last week at his home in Trigg County. One of the guns located at the home of Wadlington was discovered to be stolen after cross checking serial numbers on the firearms. Wadlington, who remains lodged in the Christian County Jail on previous charges, was charged today with Receiving Stolen Property.

(Cadiz, Ky) - A Cadiz man was taken into custody Tuesday night after a search warrant was served on his home. On Tuesday, March 31st, Kentucky State Police, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement, Trigg County Sheriff's Office, and Cadiz Police Department served a search warrant at the home of 50-year-old, Earl D. Wadlington.
The search warrant was conducted as a result of ongoing drug investigations by Kentucky State Police in Trigg County. The search resulted in the discovery of multiple guns, processed marijuana, marijuana plants, and drug paraphernalia. Wadlington was later located in Trigg County and placed under arrest at approximately 7:30 PM.
Earl Wadlington was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Persistent Felony Offender, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, DUI 1st, and Cultivation of Marijuana over Five Plants. All charges were firearm enhanced. Wadlington was lodged in the Christian County Jail. The investigation is continuing by the Kentucky State Police.
