Water Valley Fire Department Burglary

(Hickory, KY) - Kentucky State Police was dispatched to the Water Valley Fire Department after receiving a call that two individuals were being detained by the Fire Chief after they broke into the fire department building. Upon arrival, Trooper Eric Fields found Mr. Nathan Morris (age 19) and Mr. Jeremy Meadows (age 18) being detained by Fire Chief McKenzie after he caught them in the facility after normal hours. Upon investigation, Trooper Fields found the office had been broken into by forcing the door open. Both subjects were transported and lodged in the Graves County Jail on charges of Burglary 3rd Degree. Kentucky State Police was assisted at the scene by the Graves County Sheriff's Department. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Fields.
