Doctor Shopping Arrest by KSP

(Hickory, KY) - A Princeton man was arrested this morning after a two week investigation by Kentucky State Police. On December 30th, a local physician contacted the Kentucky State Police to report that a patient might be "doctor shopping" to obtain controlled substances. An investigation quickly ensued by detectives out of Post One and Post Two in Madisonville.
On Thursday, January 15, Michael Fraliex, 35-years-old, was arrested at his place of employment in Princeton. Mr. Fraliex was charged with a total of 12 counts of Attempting to Obtain a Controlled Substance by Fraud, commonly referred to as doctor shopping. The charges originate in Crittenden, Livingston, Lyon, and McCracken Counties. Mr. Fraliex was lodged in the Crittenden County Jail. The investigation is continuing by detectives with the Mayfield and Madisonville Posts.
