Two Arrested on Several Charges in Ohio County

(Henderson, Ky.) -- Troopers were conducting a traffic safety checkpoint on Hwy 54 outside of Fordsville. Phillip E. Aubrey, Jr. initially stopped, but after a few moments he sped away and fled. While being pursued by officers, both subjects were observed throwing items out of the windows. The subjects stopped in Fordsville and both were arrested. Troopers recovered several items of evidence that had been discarded by the Aubreys along the highway. Phillip E. Aubrey, Jr. was charged with Speeding, Operating on a Suspended Operator's License, Improper Registration, No Insurance, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st, Fleeing and Evading Police 1ST, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Tampering with Physical Evidence. Jennifer B. Aubrey was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Both were lodged in the Ohio County Jail.
