An Arrest Made in the Keith Calhoun Murder

(Henderson, Ky.) -- On Monday, 12-21-2009, Kentucky State Police Detective Marc Carter presented the Keith Calhoun murder case to the McLean County Grand Jury in Calhoun, KY. The Grand Jury indicted Adam Adelman of Calhoun for murdering Keith Calhoun on or about September 5, 2008.
On 12-22-2009, The Kentucky State Police with the assistance of Arkansas State Police located and arested Adelman at C. Bean Transport in Ft. Smith, AR. Troopers lodged Adelaman in the Crawford County Jail. Extradition of Adelman to the Commonwealth is expected in the near future.
The investigation is on-going.

(Henderson, Ky.) -- One year ago today, Keith Calhoun of McLean County was last seen entering some woods off Denhardt Road (Beech Grove area). On September 4, 2008, Mr. Calhoun's body was located under a bridge on KY 796 with a gun shot wound to his head.
Detectives with the state police are continuing to investigate the case; however, we are asking for anyone with additional information to contact our post at 270-685-3927. Those who call will remain anonymous.
