Felony Drug Arrest

(Henderson, Ky.) -- Kentucky State Police Post 16 Henderson made three felony drug arrests incident to a joint investigation with the United States Postal Service Inspectors Office, the Henderson City Police Department, and the Owensboro Police Department. U.S. Postal Service Inspectors contacted Kentucky State Police in reference to a suspicious package that possibly contained illegal drugs. Upon further investigation, a controlled delivery took place to a residence on Roosevelt Street in Henderson, KY. Three male subjects were arrested and approximately 8 ½ pounds of Marijuana and various items of drug paraphernalia were recovered as a result of the investigation. Those arrested were:
- Edmond Wright, 57, of Henderson, KY was charged with Trafficking in Marijuana over 5 Pounds and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Degree
- Josh Wright, 30, of Henderson, KY was charged with Trafficking in Marijuana over 5 Pounds and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Degree
- Rafael R. Guizar, 32, of Robards, KY was charged with Trafficking in Marijuana over 5 Pounds, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree Within 1000 Yards of a School, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st Degree
All three subjects were lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.
