Injury Motorcycle Collision on Thomas Lane in Hancock County

(Henderson, Ky.) -- Justin L. Laslie, operating a 1999 Honda motorcycle was southbound on Thomas Lane when a deer ran across his path of travel and he veered to the right, locking his brakes to avoid hitting the deer. This caused Mr. Laslie to lose control of the vehicle skidding approximately three hundred and eleven feet through the ditch coming to final rest back on the roadway. Mr. Laslie was taken to Owensboro Medical Health System by ambulance where he was treated for a broken arm and other injuries to both legs.
