Injury Accident in Lyon County

(Henderson, Ky.) -- Mr. & Mrs. Bryan N. Cowen were in the Pisgah Bay area of Land Between The Lakes when they became involved in a verbal argument. Mrs. Marita J. Cowen attempted to leave in her vehicle and Mr. Bryan N. Cowen attempted to hold onto the side of the vehicle. As the vehicle started moving, Mr. Cowen lost his balance and fell to the ground, at which time the vehicle traveled over the top of his leg and chest. Both subject's left the scene and were enroute to the hospital when they were stopped by Trooper Jones for a speeding violation. Trooper Jones discovered Mr. Cowen's injuries and called for EMS. EMS units arrived and called for PHI to airlift the subject due to the severity of his injuries. Trooper Jones will be continuing the investigation and possible charges may be pending.
