Law Enforcement Memorial

(Henderson, Ky.) - The U.S. Congress established May 15th of each year as Police Memorial Day. The Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #16, Owensboro, KY will conduct its 24th annual Memorial Service at First Baptist Church (230 J.R. Miller Blvd., Owensboro) on May 12th, at 7:00 pm. The public is invited to honor those officers who unselfishly gave their lives in the performance of their duties.

The keynote speaker will be the Honorable J. Michael Brown Secretary of Justice & Public Safety Cabinet. Opening remarks will be made by Department of Criminal Justice Training Commissioner John Bizzack.

A reception hosted by the F.O.P. Auxiliary will immediately follow the service.
