Injury Collision on Kentucky Highway 109 in Union County

(Henderson, Ky.) -- Mr. David J. Rogers was operating his 2002 Yamaha Motorcycle North bound on Kentucky Highway 109 and was carrying a passenger, Constance Burke also from Clay Street in Henderson. Mr. Rogers motorcycle, for reasons yet unknown, left the right side of the highway. Due to the loose gravel, grass and a low shoulder of the highway Mr. Rogers was unable to maintain control of the motorcycle. The motorcycle overturned and both riders were thrown from the motorcycle and received various injuries. Ms. Burke was flown by helicopter to St. Mary's hospital in Evansville Indiana for head injuries and Mr. Rogers was transported by ambulance to St. Mary's for various injuries as well.
